Starting at the site

Project One starts before there is a drawing. We are walking candidate sites in the Santa Clarita Valley and measuring each one against the same questions: how the land falls, where the sun comes up and where it sets, what the neighbors see, what can stay in place, and whether a home can belong there for generations.

Nothing is reserved and nothing is for sale yet. When a site is under control we will say so here, and the next entry will be about the first lines on paper.
